Let Me Introduce Myself....
Thank you for visiting this site. You are obviously on this page because
you want to learn more about who I am, how I work, and most importantly,
how I can help you.
I am the President of Rhonda H. Smith, Inc. and have over 10 years
experience helping small business owners just like you with
QuickBooks®
training and Small Business & Life Coaching.
Since becoming a Certified QuickBooks®
ProAdvisor in 2003, I have re-certified every year to date. To continue
earning this certification from Intuit, makers of QuickBooks®, I am
required to pass an extensive exam each year.
Before becoming a QuickBooks®
ProAdvisor I worked as a bookkeeper for a variety of small businesses and discovered how QuickBooks® could be used in many
different ways depending on the type of business. One of the clients I
worked with during that time hired a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor to train us.
It didn't take long for me to realize that I knew almost as much as she
did! That's when I decided to study and learn more -- eventually garnering
the courage to take the ProAdvisor exam myself!
Once I started working as a ProAdvisor, I quickly realized that many
business owners wanted and needed a sounding board for more than just
their bookkeeping. I found that once we started revealing the truth of
their finances, they were more open to discussing other challenges they
were facing in growing their businesses and juggling their lives.
So, with that in mind, combined with the increasing popularity of life
coaching, I enrolled in a Coaching Certification Program at Coach
Institute. After completing the program in 2006, I began offering small
business and life coaching.
I am often asked what the difference is between business coaching and life
coaching. While there is definitely a difference, most of us cannot help
but intermingle our personal and professional lives. That's why I offer a
combination of both business and life coaching which I refer to in this
web-site as consulting. And it's quite a natural
fit actually since I started college as a Business major, but ended up
receiving my degree in Education. While still in college, I developed a
keen interest in Psychology and took several courses in that subject. Today, I am
fortunate to work in a field that combines all my interests; business,
education, and psychology.
In my on-going quest to leverage my skills and experience, in 2011 I
became a contract trainer with a national seminar company. This has given
me the opportunity to hone my seminar facilitation skills and to connect
with many small business owners throughout the country.
I am honored to have the opportunity to be the Director of the
West Volusia, FL Chapter of
WOAMTEC. WOAMTEC has proven to be a tremendous
opportunity for me to share my skills and talents in encouraging women to
grow in all aspects of their lives. WOAMTEC welcomes male members as well.
If you would like more information about WOAMTEC, please visit
www.WOAMTEC.com.
I am a member of American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and a
member of the prestigious
Cambridge Who's Who and was qualified for inclusion in the Cambridge
Who's Who Registry of Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs.
I thrive on helping people learn and grow; I enjoy the immediate tangible
outcome of teaching QuickBooks®, I am dedicated to the longer-term results of watching my clients
strengthen their
business and find happiness in their lives, and value the opportunity
to lead seminars and workshops that help small business grow!
I welcome the opportunity to help you create Your Business and
Your Life, YOUR WAY.
